Ingredients
  1. 1 frozen pie shell
  2. 3 apples (peeled, diced)
  3. 3 tbsp sugar
  4. 2 tbsp water
  5. 1 egg
  6. 300 gr custard tofu dessert
  7. 1 tsp vanilla
  8. 1/2 cup flour
  9. 2 tbsp brown sugar
  10. 4 tbsp butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. Bake the frozen pie shell until it is slightly cooked, for about 5 minutes. Remember to pierce the bottom of the shell with a fork to prevent the crust from rising.
  3. In a pan, combine the diced apples, water, and sugar and cook over medium until softened, for about 5-10 minutes. Allow mixture to cool for about 10 minutes.
  4. Spread the apple mixture onto the bottom of the pie crust. Set aside.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, custard dessert, and vanilla until smooth. Pour this mixture over the apples.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the custard is half set.
  7. For the crumble: mix the flour and sugar together and rub in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  8. Sprinkle over the custard and bake for another 15 minutes.
  9. Cool the pie completely before slicing.
