Ingredients
  1. 3 cups Boiling water
  2. 2 cups Texturized soy protein (TSP)
  3. 2 pounds Ground turkey breast3 cups Onions, chopped
  4. 3 cups Green peppers, chopped
  5. 1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
  6. 1 tablespoon Soybean oil (vegetable oil)
  7. 10 ounces Canned diced tomatoes, including liquid
  8. 1 1/2 us liquid quarts Canned tomato sauce
  9. 4 ounces Canned green chilies, diced (1/2 cup)
  10. 7/24 cup Chili powder
  11. 2 teaspoons Salt
  12. 1 tablespoon Jalapeno peppers, minced
  13. 3 us liquid quarts Water
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, pour boiling water over soy protein.
  2. In a 14-quart pot, sauté turkey, onions, peppers and garlic in oil over medium high heat until turkey is no longer pink.
  3. Add rehydrated soy protein and remaining ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve with assorted condiments such as shredded low-fat Cheddar cheese, yogurt, sour cream or minced onion.
