This recipe calls for Original Tofu Dessert with matcha green tea syrup, but you can come up with your own flavour combinations. Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup - 100 ml water
  2. 1/2 cup - 100 ml sugar
  3. 1-1/2 tsp - 6 ml - matcha green tea powder
Matcha green tea syrup
  1. Heat sugar and water on stovetop until sugar has dissolved and syrup is boiling.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the green tea powder (do not mix).
  3. After about 10 minutes, mix green tea powder into syrup until smooth.
  4. Strain if needed.
  5. Serve over frozen tofu dessert.
Tofu Ice
  1. Freeze any flavour of Tofu Dessert overnight.
  2. Remove from freezer approximately 5-10 minutes before serving to allow the tofu to thaw.
  3. If you’re short on time, run the tofu under hot water for about 30 seconds.
  4. Remove from container and place in serving dish.
  5. If you want to make a smaller portion, you can also cut the frozen tofu dessert to desired size.
